Beach cleanups

ReefCI guests have been assisting other guests and staff on Hunting Caye with beach cleanup sessions.  Unfortunately, the rivers that flow from Guatemala and Honduras and the cargo ships that pass by are dumping garbage into the ocean and that garbage gets washed up onto our beautiful beaches.  A special thanks to Sara and Oliver who organised a beach cleanup on New Year’s Eve engaging everyone on the island for 2 hours.  Our beaches looked stunning, just in time for our annual New Year’s Eve beach party and the usual amazing firework display at midnight.
