There are currently no vaccination requirements for Belize. However, it is a good idea to be up-to-date on diphtheria, typhoid, hepatitis, tetanus, polio, cholera and rabies before you leave home. We do, however, recommend that you visit your Doctor prior to your departure.
Malaria: This disease is only present in some rural areas of Belize, cases are rare and anti-malaria treatments are only advisable if you are to spend an extended period of time in the jungle. It is advisable to use anti repellent agents containing DEET.
British passports are valid
If you plan to drive, British driving licences are valid
